Hosting is OPEN to the public, but there are certain conditions. If you don't recieve an e-mail back from me within 1 week, chances are I'm not going to host you. Don't ask me why, obviously it's because one of the conditions are not met. Please don't reapply until 6 months have passed, maybe things will improve by then.
1) You must show an example of your web design skills.
2) Speaking of which, your web design skills and graphic skills must be good... Not god-like, but close to it, if you know what I mean. You should know HTML, CSS, and if you know more, that's great!! No pre-made layouts should ever be used.
3) Don't start up a site with illegal material and/or distasteful pictures. I'll shut it down immediately.
4) Don't upload music, videos, or other large files. I know that what you do with your space is up to you, but please, for bandwidth's sake, use sites like megaupload or sendspace instead.
5) As a warning in advance, I will not teach you how to use FTP or how to set up your website. I'll try to help if you encounter any technical problems though.
6) You have to update at least once a month, unless you tell me that you're going to be away for a long period of time and why. Psst, if you read the rules, type jelly in the last field of the application. Anyways if your site is inactive for 3 months without notification, and if I can't contact you at all, expect it to be gone. I can understand if you own a fanlisting and nobody is joining, but that's about all I will accept.
7) The website must be complete within 14 days of being activated.
8) A link back to neon-gloss.net isn't required, since quite obviously it can be seen in the address bar... But it would be very sweet of you!
